Niki Spivey

Teacher / Curriculum Writer

Niki has a strong background in secondary English and has taught across Years 7–12 in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Working in a variety of school settings has deepened her expertise in differentiation, literacy development, and connection-centred practices.

She has also worked in allied health, supporting students one-to-one to build academic skills, confidence and emotional regulation, alongside an Occupational Therapy team. This experience has strengthened her understanding of how to meaningfully re-engage young people in their learning.

Committed to creating environments where students feel supported, capable, and ready to succeed, Niki grounds her curriculum design in evidence, care, and a belief in every student’s potential. Her time in both education and therapy settings has allowed her to explore a wide range of tools and approaches. As a result, she develops learning programs that are inclusive, structured, and responsive to student needs.

Outside of work, Niki enjoys reading, travelling, going to the gym, and spending time with her family and dog – ideally at the beach.
