Rohan Guillon

Rohan is a Primary School teacher at Tombolo Academy with a rich and varied background in education and the arts. Before moving into the classroom, he spent over a decade teaching ballroom dancing full time, where he developed a strong passion for teaching, mentoring, and building inclusive communities. These experiences shaped his approach to education, with a focus on confidence-building, connection, and meaningful learning.
Rohan is inspired by helping students grow, believe in themselves, and achieve goals they are proud of. He values creating supportive learning environments where students feel motivated, capable, and encouraged to celebrate their progress. He is particularly drawn to Tombolo Academy’s personalised approach to learning, smaller class sizes, and effective use of technology, which allow students to receive targeted support and thrive academically.
Outside of school, Rohan continues to enjoy dance as a creative outlet. He also loves travelling and going on adventures with his wife and dog. In his downtime, he enjoys gaming, listening to and playing music, and relaxing with movies and television, especially anime.
