A Wild Return To School

Term 1 started with some excitement at Tombolo Academy. We were visited by Black Snake Productions.

Australia is home to some of the most unique and fascinating wildlife in the world. For over 10 years, Black Snake has been providing students with a first-hand experience with a wide assortment of wild creatures through their wildlife education group.

During their interactive education programs, students have the opportunity to observe, touch, and learn important information about the animals, including their characteristics and habitats. By providing this interactive experience, Black Snake is not only educating students about the importance of wildlife conservation, but also fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of these incredible creatures.

Through their efforts, Black Snake is contributing to the conservation of Australia’s vast array of wildlife. By increasing awareness and understanding of these animals, they are helping to ensure their continued existence in the wild.

The students got to meet and greet several unusual animals but the star of the show was Yarra the dingo. Not many students get welcomed back to school by a dingo.
