Our annual Tombolo Family Trivia Night was another wonderful celebration of community spirit, friendly competition, and shared commitment to supporting our students. Held on the evening of Friday 21 November, the event brought together families, staff, and friends of Tombolo Academy for a night filled with laughter, teamwork, and memorable moments. With more than 40 attendees across multiple tables, the energy in the room was lively from the very first question to the final round.
The trivia competition was fierce yet fun, with teams eagerly testing their knowledge across a range of topics. Between rounds, families enjoyed light refreshments and pizza, chatted with new and familiar faces, and explored the impressive selection of raffle prizes generously donated by our community partners.
The raffle draw took place at our morning assembly on Friday 5 December, with several enthusiastic students helping to select the lucky winners. Watching students assist with the draw brought an extra sense of excitement and ownership to the occasion. Winners took home their prizes later that day, adding a burst of end-of-term joy throughout the school. We are deeply grateful to all our sponsors, donors, and community supporters who contributed products, vouchers and services to our Trivia Night and Raffle. Your generosity makes a tangible difference to our school community. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without your ongoing support.
Most importantly, the money raised from the evening will go directly toward enhancing the outdoor spaces our students use every day. Funds will be used to purchase new outdoor seating and additional playground equipment, resources that foster social connection, physical activity, and wellbeing. These improvements help create environments where our students feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn and grow.

The strength of our Tombolo community continues to shine, and we are truly grateful for the support that allows us to keep providing meaningful opportunities and resources for our students.
